Collision Damage Waiver is optional additional insurance. If accepted, you will be charged $15 per day for regular vehicles and $20 per day for an SUV. CDW has a deductible for damages caused to the vehicle of $1000. This insurance covers the vehicle for damage caused by collision. CDW does not cover accidents while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving over the speed limit, driving off-road or one-way accidents.
All accidents must be reported to the police imediately. A complete accident or incident report must be filed within 24 hours with Wheels 2 Go.
Check with your credit card, you may already have CDW. If you take additional insurance it will consequently void any existing insurance on your credit card.
